BDI Technologies was engaged by Bayside Plasterboard (BSPB) to assist with workplace health and safety initiatives, along with the design and installation of additional CCTV infrastructure and alarm monitoring across multiple sites. BDI delivered a solution that exceeded the client’s initial brief by integrating all BSPB locations into a single, unified security platform. This approach enabled centralised management and secure remote access to CCTV footage from anywhere, improving operational oversight and response times. As part of the implementation, Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology was introduced to streamline site access for company vehicles.

This allowed authorised vehicles to enter sites automatically without the need for manual intervention, improving efficiency while maintaining a high level of security and compliance. The resulting system provides BSPB with enhanced visibility across all sites, improved safety outcomes, and a scalable platform capable of supporting future growth and operational requirements.
