Project Scale
Bayside Plasterboard (BSPB) engaged BDI Technologies Australia to support workplace health and safety initiatives and expand security infrastructure across multiple sites. The initial brief included the design and installation of additional CCTV surveillance infrastructure and alarm monitoring.
BDI extended the solution beyond the original requirements by bringing all BSPB locations into a single, unified security platform. This gave the business a coordinated way to oversee its sites, securely access CCTV footage remotely and manage security as its operations grow.
The project also introduced Automated Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology to streamline access for authorised company vehicles.
The Problem
Managing security across multiple locations requires clear visibility and timely access to information. BSPB needed additional security infrastructure that would support workplace safety while giving management better oversight of activity across its sites.

Systems & Brands
The project combined CCTV surveillance, alarm monitoring, secure remote access and ANPR technology within a unified security platform.
CCTV surveillance provided visibility across BSPB’s locations, while centralised management allowed authorised users to oversee multiple sites through one platform. Secure remote access made footage available without requiring management to be physically present at each location.
